Vertigarden - living wall of colour and nature

Our eDEN is the first garden room in the UK to feature this bio-diverse living wall system, which enhances the natural beauty of the garden landscape with lush planting and provides natural cladding. A living wall, vertical planting system, adds impact whilst reflecting sustainable values and will be a real talking point!

If you are looking for a low maintenance feature, then your living wall can be planted with perennials, which need minimal attention. Alternatively, you can choose a range of seasonal plants which will add colour and vibrancy to your garden. The Vertigarden living walls are pre-planted to your specification by our experienced horticulturists, who are experts in creating stunning garden walls to provide all-year-round interest.

 

How the Vertigarden Living Wall works

The living wall is made up of pre-planted modules, which retain the plants and soil. The modules also incorporate an efficient irrigation system, which ensures that the wall requires very little maintenance.

A living wall offers a wide range of benefits:

  • Thermal savings: soil and planting have higher thermal values than normal types of cladding, making the building more cost effective to heat up and cool down
  • Acoustic insulation: be as noisy as you like! The plants certainly won’t mind and they, along with the soil, will absorb excessive noise, protecting any sensitive neighbours
  • Eco-friendly: the plants will absorb C02 from the atmosphere and provide a natural habitat for insects and birds.
